21.06.03 Antioch Amen - Acts 14:21-28

May I ask you an important but personal question? Who are some of the people in your life who have encouraged you along the way, especially when you have been going through hard times? And today, June 2021, who are those you know you can count on to encourage you when you need it? And what about this… who are those who ‘strengthen’ you in your journey of life? There’s a difference between ‘encourage’ and ‘strengthen’ isn’t there? And finally this… who are the people who ‘encourage you to remain true to your faith in God’?  I ask these questions because of this statement which we looked at yesterday: “…they (Paul & Barnabas) returned to Lystra, Iconium and Pisidian Antioch, strengthening the disciples (followers of Jesus) and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.”
