In our very fast paced world, I wonder how your patience is doing this summer? How is your patience with the government of your country, patience with your family, patience with technology, patience with your church…patience with yourself, and finally patience with God? In our journey with James, we’ve come to these words today: “Be patient, then friends, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You also, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near…” (James 5:7,8)
