May I ask, does Easter seem much farther away than only 7 days? Oh, time runs so fast and so many things are happening in our world all around us, that a week can feel like a month or a year, can't it? But for Mary, Jesus' mother, the disciples, and the other close friends of Jesus I think it's safe to say this past week dragged very slowly, hour after hour. They were conflicted in their hearts. On the one hand they were fearful of those who had called for Jesus' death. Fearful that maybe they'd be terrorized or killed simply for their association with Jesus.
