Almost 1500 year earlier, as Moses led the Hebrew slaves out of Egyptian slavery, they followed the God provided cloud by day and pillar of fire by night which led them to Mount Sinai. There this nearly 1 million people, who had lived in slavery for generations, spent several months with God learning about God's vision for a people who would live God honoring lives as a people of God in a wicked, often broken and dysfunctional world. God gave those Hebrews 10 Commandments which formed the foundation of their unique culture as God's people. Among these God given, life guiding, values are these six statements: * "Honor your father and mother..."* "You shall not murder."* "You shall not commit adultery."* "You shall not steal."* "You shall not covet..."                      (Exodus 20) (Click here to see full text, images and links)       Today's Scripture is Matthew 6:25-34. Choose below to read or listen. Pastor Doug Anderson    262.441.8785   “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, with our eyes fixed on Jesus…” (Heb. 12:1,2) Have a comment or question about today’s chapter? I’m ready to hear from you, contact me here.
