23.10.17 “Stepping on Shore” (Joshua 4:15-22)

 

I wonder if you've ever been caught in a riptide at the ocean, or a flooded river pulling you downstream? Water has great, frightening power, doesn't it? So, let's rejoin Joshua and more than 1 million Israelites as they are completing the crossing of the Jordan river, but they're walking across a DRY riverbed! How is that possible? God was holding back the floodwaters! You'll find this remarkable event in Joshua 3 & 4 in the Bible. I left you standing on the WEST bank of the Jordan yesterday, watching this almost indescribable scene...
