Yesterday we began our journey toward Christmas 2023 by looking at the prophecies of Isaiah, written about 700 years before Jesus' birth. Isaiah had predicted the devastating destruction of the northern kingdom of Israel by the global, dominating empire Assyria, which did happen in 722bc.
