‘Good-byes’ are never easy, are they? Especially if you know the good-bye is for a very long time or maybe even permanently. Since Easter, we’ve been looking at the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus with His friends. Dr. Luke tells us this in the opening words of His book “The Acts”“After His sufferings, Jesus presented Himself to His disciples and gave many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a period of 40 days and spoke about the kingdom of God.” (Acts 1:3)  So now we know it was 40 days from His resurrection that Passover/Easter weekend, until Jesus left them for the last time, and we know what Jesus was doing during those 6 weeks.
