Leadership is something God’s “Grand Narrative” addresses very often. Leadership in the family; the marketplace and even leadership of the nation! God has very strong opinions about leadership in every aspect of society! And today we jump into one of the most important leadership scenes in all of human history! We ended yesterday in a peaceful time in Israel’s history, the season when Samuel was Israel’s spiritual leader and judge. I presume it lasted about 40 or 50 years since it began when Samuel was a young man and lasted till he was very old. (1 Samuel 7:15-17)
